Hi Lovies! My name is Emily
I am the owner of LA Brows Lashes & Beauty. I am 20 yrs old born and raised in the beautiful Top End.
My passion for beauty started at a young age when I first started noticing my mother putting on her full face of makeup, gosh I was so fascinated!
I was never allowed to wear makeup in school or out in public when i was younger, "only when you leave school" mum would say. It wasn’t until I started doing makeup at home and creating looks in 2017. I grew a love for makeup! The feeling of being creative and free to do my makeup as I could imagine was a way for me to be myself and disconnect from the world. I decided to leave school back in 2019 and study full time at university where I then got my Certificate III in Beauty Therapy. Also winning 1st place in the CDU “time to shine” makeup/hair competition back in 2019.

Once finished, Covid 19 had just became a thing in 2020 and the dream of starting my own business got cut short, I set off for a year travelling Australia as a flight attendant. Doing makeup as a side hobby throughout the years then landed a makeup artist for Mecca which my skills and passion grew more and more! I knew i had to start doing me for me and share my love for the beauty industry with you all!
I’ve invested my self into learning off some of the best makeup artist in the world some being Sherree Morris and Stacy Marie. I also investing in upskilling in my brow work by doing a micro balding / Ombre brow course down south where I've learnt off one of the best brow specialists.
My aim is to make each and everyone of my clients to feel heard & valued and special and leave my salon feeling their best self! xx
